Airport traffic back to normal

Flights to and from Athens' Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport as well as to other airports around Greece were normalised by early in the afternoon on Sunday following a breakdown hours in earlier in the communications system connecting flight control towers in the country.

A glitch was repaired before 10:30 a.m. local time in the main communications system.
